Situated just two miles from the attractive village of Strathdon in Upper Donside it has views over the River Don and surrounding hills and would provide a comfortable, spacious base for a truly relaxing holiday. It is also perfect holiday situation for walkers and cyclists and there are suggested walks and cycle routes available in the house information pack. A lockable shed is available for bikes.
The log house is newly built to the highest specifications and has 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 twin). One double and a twin bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and large lounge on the ground floor.
A smaller lounge, shower room and double bedroom are upstairs.
The smaller upper lounge has two settees (one of which is a futon) so there is plenty of space to spread out.
Superb kitchen with all modern appliances - dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker etc.
Bathroom and shower-room.
It has luxurious oil fired underfloor heating with ceramic tiles on the ground floor. Fully carpeted upstairs.
Large grassed garden for use for badminton, croquet etc.
Covered decking area with furniture and barbecue.
Free fishing available on the River Don.
Other equipment can be organised if requested in advance e.g. bicycles, disability scooter, trampoline.
The large lounge is open plan and has comfortable seating for 6 and dining table for 6-8. It also has the TV/Video/DVD and CD Player and enough space for the snooker table when needed.
Most bedrooms have original patchwork quilts.
Daily Rates (two night minimum):
£65.00 per night on weekdays (for 2 people)
£75.00 per night on weekends (for 2 people)
Weekly Rates:
£380.00 per week (for 2 people)
Except for the 2 weeks either side of Lonach (weeks beginning 21st and 28th August) - £430
Each additional person £5.00 per night
Other rates negotiable.
Non- Smokers only, No pets.
Bed & Breakfast can also be arranged.
